Yellow-crowned Bishops are natives of Africa. There is a small colony established in Florida. They are typically found in flocks. This outlier was by himself alongside The San Diego River, that flows into the Newport Back Bay. How he got here is a mystery. He was a cooperative subject repeatedly flying back to the same patch of reeds. The challenge was under exposing to capture feather detail in the yellows.
